      Scales

      The TM6’s scale provides precise measurements, accurate to 1 gram, making it perfect for baking, cooking, and preparing dishes with exact ingredient amounts. Simply weigh your ingredients directly in the mixing bowl for accurate results every time!

      Sugar Stages

      Sugar stages are the different levels of consistency that sugar reaches when it is heated. During this process, the sugar changes in terms of texture, colour, and taste, depending on the temperature, time and proportion of water and sugar. This allows you to create different types of sweets (e.g. fudge, toffee) or confections (e.g. caramel, honeycomb) using Guided Cooking.

      Spiralizing

      The Spiralizing function transforms vegetables like zucchini, carrots, and sweet potatoes into noodle-like spirals. This innovative feature allows for creative, healthy alternatives to traditional pasta, adding texture and visual appeal to dishes. Perfect for salads, stir-fries, and low-carb meals, it makes food prep fun and nutritious.

      Slicing

      The Slicing function enables precise slicing of a variety of ingredients, such as vegetables, fruits, and cheeses. With adjustable thickness settings, it produces uniform slices quickly and efficiently, making food preparation easier and enhancing the presentation of dishes. This function is ideal for salads, garnishes, and even meal prep, ensuring consistent results every time.

      Grating

      The Grating function allows you to quickly and easily shred or grate ingredients like cheese, vegetables, and fruits. Utilizing high-speed blades, it produces consistent textures for cooking and baking, saving you time and effort in food preparation. This versatile function is perfect for recipes that require finely grated or coarsely shredded ingredients.

      Peeler

      The Peeler function is designed to efficiently peel fruits and vegetables with minimal effort. By using a specialized attachment, it removes skin without losing too much flesh, making food prep quicker and reducing waste. This function is ideal for preparing ingredients for various recipes, ensuring clean and precise peeling every time.

      Sous Vide

      The Sous Vide mode enables precise temperature control for cooking food in a water bath, ensuring even cooking and retaining moisture and flavour. Ideal for meats, fish, and vegetables, this method allows for perfect doneness and enhanced tenderness, while preserving nutrients and achieving consistent results every time. 

      There are 2 ways of using this mode:​​ 

      1. Using the simmering basket. Bags should be placed in the simmering basket ensuring there is space between them for water to circulate.​ 

      2. Using the Blade Cover & Peeler.

      Slow Cooking

      The Slow Cooking mode allows for gentle, low-temperature cooking over an extended period, perfect for tenderizing meats, enhancing flavours, and developing rich, complex dishes. This mode simulates traditional slow-cooking methods, requiring minimal intervention, and results in beautifully cooked stews, casseroles, and soups that retain moisture and nutrients.

      Fermentation

      The Fermentation mode provides a controlled, warm environment (typically around 37°C) to help ferment foods like yoghurt, dough, and sourdough starters. This mode ensures consistent temperature over an extended period, promoting optimal growth of beneficial bacteria or yeast, making it ideal for homemade fermented foods.

      Rice Cooker

      The Rice Cooker mode is designed to cook rice and other grains, like quinoa or couscous, to perfection. It automatically adjusts the cooking time, temperature, and stirring for fluffy, evenly cooked grains. This mode simplifies the process, requiring minimal supervision and ensuring consistent results every time.

      Thicken

      The Thicken mode is designed to effortlessly thicken sauces, custards, and gravies by automatically controlling temperature and stirring. This mode ensures smooth, lump-free results by maintaining precise heat and consistent mixing, making it ideal for creating creamy, velvety textures without constant supervision.

      Warm Up

      The Warm Up mode is designed to gently reheat food or liquids to a desired temperature without overcooking. Ideal for warming soups, sauces, or baby food, this mode provides controlled, even heating, ensuring consistent results while preserving the texture and flavor of your dishes.

      Kettle

      The Thermomix “Kettle” mode allows you to heat water or liquids to a specific temperature, ranging from 37°C to 100°C. It’s perfect for boiling water, preparing tea, or warming milk with precision. This mode offers quick and controlled heating for a variety of uses, ensuring efficiency and accuracy every time.

      Egg Boiler

      The Egg Boiler function is a mode that cooks eggs to your preferred level—soft, medium, or hard-boiled. It automatically adjusts the time and temperature for precise and consistent results, making it simple to boil eggs without needing to monitor them closely.

      Blend

      The Thermomix “Blend” mode is designed for quickly blending ingredients into smooth textures, perfect for making smoothies, soups, sauces, and purees. It operates at high speeds to ensure a consistent, lump-free result, even with tough or fibrous ingredients.

      Pre-Clean

      Pre-clean mode allows you to easily get rid of the toughest of ingredients including dough, caramel and browned food on the base of the mixing bowl and mixing knife. With 5 different settings, Pre-clean mode targets ingredients with thicker, sticker consistencies which tend to be difficult to clean. Add 1000 g water and a little washing up liquid or vinegar then start mode.

      Turbo

      The Thermomix “Turbo” function provides short, powerful bursts of high-speed blending, ideal for quickly chopping or pulverizing tough ingredients like nuts, ice, or hard vegetables. It allows you to control the processing time in brief intervals, ensuring precision and preventing over-processing.

      Dough

      The dough function is designed for kneading ingredients to make various types of dough, such as bread, pizza, or pastry dough. It replicates the kneading process by using controlled blade movements, ensuring a smooth and elastic texture, while saving time and effort compared to manual kneading.

      Chop

      The Thermomix “chop” function is a built-in feature that allows you to finely or coarsely chop ingredients, such as vegetables, nuts, or herbs, by controlling the speed of the blades. You can adjust the chopping consistency by changing the speed setting and duration, offering a quick and efficient way to prepare ingredients for recipes.

      Sensor

      The Thermomix’s advanced sensor ensures precise temperature control, allowing you to cook with accuracy and consistency. Whether you’re simmering, steaming, or sous-vide cooking, the sensor maintains the exact temperature needed for perfect results every time. Just set your desired heat, and let the Thermomix handle the rest!
